Protected areas are located between the two main rivers of Kakheti, Iori, and Alazani, including a state reserve, natural monuments, and a national park. The park area is rich in relict, endemic, and rare flora and fauna species. The area is home to 62 species of mammals and 135 species of birds.

Tour Highlights:

Day 1: Explore Shiraki's Winter Pastures

• Depart from Tbilisi at 08:30, driving 200 km to Vashlovani National Park, located in the southeast of Georgia in the Kakheti region. The last 20 km of the road pass through Shirak-Eldar fields.
• The first-day route runs through the winter pastures of Shiraki, where we will meet shepherds' huts and wheat and barley fields, and ends with beautiful views of Vashlovani National Park
• The warm-up exercise will take about 15-20 minutes before the start of the tour
• Overnight stay at the campsite in the heart of Vashlovani National Park

Day 2: Mountain Ridges and Riverbanks

• The route continues on a mountain ridge and goes down to the river side of Alazani, where Vashlovani National Park’s visitor’s center and campsite are

Day 3: Mystical Valleys and Changing Landscapes

• The route goes in the valley, where the landscape changes every minute and creates a mystical environment all around

Day 4: Borderlands and Wild Meadows

• The journey continues near the border of Azerbaijan
• On the way, we will have the possibility to gallop on boundless meadows and meet wild impalas

Day 5: Spectacular Ridge Views and Return to Tbilisi

• Ascend to the ridge, enjoying breathtaking views of Vashlovani National Park.
• At the end of the day, take the horses to their pastures and return to Tbilisi  

During the tour, we will have a car that, in addition to carrying the necessary items, will also serve tired riders.
